Coverage Change to Proton Pump Inhibitor Class Medication
FCC identified the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) class of drugs as a cost-savings opportunity for our members. Effective March 19, 2007 a step-therapy requirement applies to Protonix, Nexium, Prevacid, Aciphex and Zegerid.
